On September 1, 2024, Yan Wenrui, a technician employed by SENFENG, was dispatched by our headquarters to Morocco, Africa, for the installation of an SF3015N metal sheet laser cutter.

Since the new machine was transported as a whole and didn’t require disassembly of its crossbeam and sheet metals, Yan was able to install it on site more conveniently and quickly, completing the installation in just 1 day and significantly reducing the customer’s waiting time for production.  

During the installation of the metal sheet laser cutter, the Y2 servo drive triggered an alarm. Yan swiftly contacted Schneider for help, conducted a detailed inspection, and found the fault was due to a short circuit in the encoder cable shielding of the metal sheet laser cutter. He then recreated the shielding layer and resolved the issue successfully.

After addressing the alarm, Yan fine-tuned the metal sheet laser cutter’s cutting processes for carbon steel and stainless steel. He selected 2 workers for detailed training on operating the machine. As this was the customer’s second SENFENG metal sheet laser cutter, they were satisfied with the after-sales service, saying, “You always solve problems quickly, alleviating my concerns.” Through 4 days, Yan gained trust, built good relations with workers, and enhanced SENFENG’s visibility in Africa.
